MnD - Effect of Defense (2015/06/21)

As we know from the previous test, we know critical damage is 2x normal damage. This test makes use of the floating Critical Damage text in battle to calculate the effect of defense.
Results of the test
For every 10 defense, critical damage taken is reduced by 4 (i.e. Normal damage taken is reduced by 2). In other words, every 2.5 defense reduces 0.5 damage taken.

And it is worth noting that there is a floor to damage, which means no matter how high defense is, hero takes at least 10 damage from a normal hit (20 for critical damage). So strictly stacking defense might not be effective if your enemies do not deal high damage.

Enemy cavalry hero still does 20 critical damage to the minion
