Heroes Comparison - Cavalry (2016/01/03)

Cavalry is obviously a class to storm and flank. Therefore, heroes are either with very aggressive skill to kill quick, or very defensive skill to stay alive and create disruptions.

Cavalries changes

  • Before v1.8, cavalry would randomly flank other lanes. Sometimes they would run from top lane to bottom. Very unpredictable.
  • v1.8, cavarly flanked enemies at the back. Yet, running into a group of enemies without support is just suicidal, especially if cavalry runs into Reinhard / pikemen.
  • v1.8.5 till now, cavalry does not fight enemies who are surrounded already. Reinhard becomes less efficient.
All 4* cavalries
  • Galahad
  • Hilda
  • Lancelot
  • Cannon
  • Charles the Great
  • Cantello (new sav. cavalry)
  • El Cid
  • Hyacinth
  • Uriah (tCrystal only, I won't include him in here)

Top 3 cavalries for being...
Aggressive
1. Galahad
2. Lancelot
3. Cannon

Galahad has 40 crits, highest among cavalries (compensated by his lower attack power). If lucky, he can stun enemies for 2s every 4s, theoretically reducing enemies' output by 50%. And not to mention the high damage from his skill.

Lancelot is much strong after his buff (added self-healing and lowered skill cool-down). His skill does great damage and the heal sustains his squad longer. A well-balanced hero to deal damage / absorb damage.

Cannon's skill deals max health damage. Cannon's minions can stun. Cannon and his squad looks really scary when charging. So he deserves 3rd place.

Other potent candidates:
Charles the Great: Equipping him with Royal Guard necklace and Shock Cavalry (reducing first target's defense), he can be very potent leading 50 cavalry units.

Defensive
1. El Cid
2. Hyacinth
3. Lancelot

El Cid is with a lot of health, defense and dodge. His halo reduces >36% skill damage for all units around him. With Templar Cavalry, it will be over 50% skill damage reduction. Very tanky indeed.

Hyacinth can be very tanky with his healing halo, so as Lancelot's skill to heal his squad.

High utility (How well the hero supports others)
1. Hyacinth
2. El Cid
3. Galahad

First 2 places are with trivial reasons.  I prefer heal over skill damage reduction so Hyacinth takes the first place.

Galahad is on 3rd place with his stun. Stun + Heavy Musketeers should do a huge punch to enemies and also disable them at the same time.

Other potent candidates:
Hilda: Great against strong heroes but I prefer a rally with many disabling skills
Cantello: His skill is to summon a halo that stun enemies who attack within halo's range by chance. Building him tank should cause huge disruptions and support Heavy Musketeers well
