Since the release of v1.8, there are no unlimited stages for grinding experience and gold. What should you do if you are @PL30-50?
Farming scrolls
Hero skill is the most important element at this PL range. If you read my guide, i name heroes with great damaging skills as Casters.
Hero skills can be leveled up using skill scrolls obtainable from 3 sources:
1. Event stage (all 3 types available)
2. PvP (green scrolls at this PL range)
3. Daily quest from drawing 3 heroes in Tarven (green scrolls only)
I will spend most of my energy on farming the event stages rather than PvP. The rewards from PvP isn't too much at PL30-50 and cost 15 energy. If you lose, you waste the energy (but learn on how to make a better rally). So better spend the energy somewhere else.
Farming special stage
Special stages are those with red and blue shields. There are two that give only gold and only exp respectively, together with some PL. These 2 are great to farm because they only cost 6 energy. If you lose, the energy will not be consumed, which means you can try again until you can win.
There are special stages that give chests and a mix of exp and gold. Don't farm them too many times as...they aren't that worth...
Farming old world items
It costs nothing to playing the old world and all the resources are basically free. What you aim at in the old world are gears and skill scrolls. The earlier you get these resources, the higher value they will provide to you.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, i'm stuck at lvl 32, don't know what to do except pvp. Special Stage's level are too high lever at this point (brought them to lvl 39), i've done every possibile normal/elite level in the portal (as far as i can go), and the "storyline" is too hard too.. i'm just after Albin. All my heroes and troops are maxed. I have a pretty decent army for my level... simply, dunno what to do exactly!
Can you tell me how to farm exp and where?

DeleteThe 1st and 2nd round of daily special quests should be do-able at your level. Don't worry about losing as it costs nothing to lose. Keep trying and u will win (with some luck)!
One thing that might help winning is to level up your morale skills (esp. mist, heal and ninja). Ninja is super useful in early game, while mist and heal are very useful throughout the game.
