Actually, the less 3* you have left, the less chance u have to get 4*. I have all 3*s but only 21 4*s. And when I used a few goblets + T-crystals, all I got were the same 2 star heroes that I had in my last refresh. I even tried to dismiss my last recruited 3 star hero. When I used goblet, I got the same 3* back again. So now you know how low chance the goblet is to get any 4 stars. This happened a few more times and I got really frustrated. So I'm saving crystals now for hades set. The chance to get 4* when all your 3* is gotten seems to be very low. Either that or I just had really bad luck on 2 devices.
I'm currently a prestige 51 with 16 4* heroes. I now usually save up 3 or more goblets/80 tcrystals and then do 3 or so refreshes that net me 1 4* hero. That has worked for me and I've received summers, Ragnar and Joan trying that out after getting 3 star after 3 star..
I tried a little experiment with 2 new accounts, one android and one iOS. It seems your first gold refresh/goblet will always get you a 4* and your next few are almost guaranteed to net you a 4*. This is interesting seeing as after this period of "luck" the chances of you receiving a 4* seem to drop drastically. Maybe trinity increases the chances in the beginning to entice newer players? If so I wouldn't be apposed to it, but it does seem a little unfair if that were true.
Ya Jimmy, saving the tcrystals seem be to a good way. I have been saving for the Hades set recently. Im considering spending tcrystals to recharge energy when I unlock most of the castles.
And that's really an amazing test Laggy (or Potato?) ! My first draw should be Leon if i recalled. And it's absolutely fair to have more 4* earlier in the game so to encourage you to play
I definitely agree, with the luck i have currently (getting almost only 3*'s) It wouldn't be as fun of a game if you didn't get a few 4*'s at the beginning.
