MnD - Insight to new mechanics

1.8 is coming soon. Some new characters and mechanics will be in game.

One interesting change is the attack pattern of different minions. Three classes will have changes, including cavalry, archer and mage.

Cavalries will hit target enemy on the same lane, then go attack the furtherest enemies of nearby lane. For mage and archer, they will attack the closest enemies (inot clear if they swap target or they finish current target then hs it the closest). This means that cavalries will charge backlines more frequently, and mage and archers will hit cavalries more. Also worth noting is that musketeers doesnt not swap target. So they might be in trouble to more frequent chargings.

I think archer now serve as the protectors of the backlines against cavalries as they have more health to tank the damage and they swap targets. They might be worth leveling up now. And since mage will swap target as well, their damage to frontlines will reduce, enhancing the survivability of the frontlines heroes. It may give infanty units more survivability  breathe in battles.

What do you think?
