MnD - Damage Calculation: Critical Damage and Defense (2015/05/23)

Edit(2015/06/19): The reason of variances of damages is mainly from hero dodge, which the game doesn't have any indications (Human error also exists ;P)
--------------------------
Finally the result is officially out! Sorry for delaying again and again.

As mentioned before, I use a 1* archer to test, so I don't need to consider restrain for the moment (I will cover it in other experiments).

Test 1: Archer with 48 defense

Test 2: Archer with 160 defense

For each pair of records, I calculated the damage of each normal and critical hits. Using a boxplot diagram, outliners were removed and the average damage of the 2 attack types was calculated.

Both tests confirmed that critical damage is about 2 times a normal damage.

By increasing defense by 112, normal attack is reduced by 9.57 and critical attack is reduced by 18.73, roughly 2 times the reduction in normal attack. So...critical damage should apply after calculating defense. But not enough data to show the defense mechanism. Will do later.

Anyway...I refreshed 4 times using 80-tcrystal one. And...

All are pikemen...and some of them were dismissed......

Today's Conclusion

Lv 45
PL: 49713 (+45), lower than expected because of Joan and Elith
Stage 80 (Elite Stage)
