Beginner Guide - Minions (2015/10/08)

Okay, with hero and rally explained very briefly, it's time get dirty on a more advanced subject. The minions. There are 8 classes of regular minions:
  1. Infantry
  2. Paviser
  3. Cavalry
  4. Pikeman
  5. Archer
  6. Arbalist
  7. Mage
  8. Musketeer
How they restrain each other? Since v1.8.5, you have to take note of their attack type and armor type. Some attack types are stronger against certain armor types.

The weapon logo is attack type and armor logo is armor type

Below is a summary of basic minion restrain relationships:

Many say musketeers are nerfed greatly in this version. In v1.8, musketeers do 1.33x damage against all minion class (including musketeers). You should see the nerf now.

My personal favorite is mage. They are very strong against tanks and they have one unique feature compared to other types (so as  archers):

Mages and archers attack the closest targets within their CIRCULAR range while the others search for targets in the same row, even if there are targets righth next to them in other lanes. Thus they spend less time moving around.
